The house has a shared main bathroom upstairs with toilet, shower & sink, additional shared toilet downstairs, 4 furnished private bedrooms, shared furnished lounge and shared kitchen.
Facilities include: Washing Machine, Electric Shower, Gas Central Heating, Double Glazing, Microwave, Gas Hob, Electric Oven & Free On-Street Parking.
Each tenant has allocated: 2 kitchen cupboards, 2 fridge drawers/shelves, 2 freezer drawers/shelves and a basket to place there toiletries.
Location: Short walk to Leicester City Centre and has other amenities close by too including a Large Tesco Supermarket, Esso Petrol Station, Tesco Express, ATM Cash Point, Lidl supermarket, Narborough Rd and Fosse Rd N shops.
Smokers are accepted as long as they are considerate of other tenants and ONLY smoke outside.
This is a licensed property through Leicester City Council so we are held to a high standard.
Bedding is not provided.
We have an FAQ’s page for our properties only answering questions like: Do I need to sign a contract? What checks do you do? etc.
Deposits are registered through the Deposit Protection Service.
All tenants are reference, credit and affordability checked via Open Rent.
I’m afraid we are not able to let to couples, families, students or people with pets as there is not enough space and the other tenants may have allergies.

Great place to stay! This house is very close to shops and supermarkets. It’s a very tidy place (one of the tidest place that I’ve ever rented) The housemates are mature and behave well. No loud music/ noises from the housemates and they treat each other in a respectful manner. It’s a very quiet & calm place. Very nice landlord too who takes care of any issues in a timely manner. And finally, the rent is reasonable. My reason for leaving is that I have to go abroad for a family matter for a few months. I would definitely recommend this place for someone who is looking to rent.

Just came from Spain, I found Rent a Room, a place very nice and cleaned. Also the house is very close to center town! If I would come back to Leicester I will contact him for sure again!

Back in August 2012 I was in a tight spot and needed accommodation very quickly. I found out about Rentaroom-Leicester via another site and was able to move in very quickly indeed. I was a tenant for over 2 years and Rentaroom-Leicester proved to be everything they claim to be.I did have a serious issue once but it was dealt with very speedily and resolved to my complete satisfaction. My only reason for leaving was relocation to another city in the UK. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Rentaroom-Leicester. Their claims are accurate, there was no nasty rent rise for me after the inital agreement and their rent is reasonable.Provided the location is suitable they should be top of your list.
